What a difference a few weeks make for Peter Jackson's camp and his future in middle earth. When director Guillermo del Toro felt compelled to drop out The Hobbit and its sequel due to delays caused by MGM's financial troubles, fans were automatically wondering if this meant the original Lord of the Rings director was going to come back to helm the tale about Bilbo and the Dwarves' plight to the Lonely Mountain...

20th Century Fox is enlisting a rising action star for a romance-driven sci-fi tale though space and dimensions. While it doesn't sound too much like Avatar---especially with different dimensions element---Heat Vision is reporting there is a connection with this upcoming film Ion. Apparently the script was tossed around Hollywood last year but nobody seemed too enthusiastic by its prospects...
