The original was made by Night of the Living Dead director George Romero and while it doesn’t have the same directorial pedigree it’s still a mighty fine horror/thriller. Variety reports the studio is gearing up to adapt Mr. Popper's Penguins, an adaptation of the 1938 publication, with director Mark Waters circling the project.
