Columbia Pictures has signed Kevin James to lead the action-comedy Here Comes the Boom, based on a story the comedic actor wrote with Rock Reuben. Variety reports that Salma Hayek is circling the female lead in the film while Adam Sandler and Todd Garner are on board to produce. The project is set to begin shooting in January.
