| Book Excerpt: Dogman - A True Encounter Posted: 13 Jun 2016 05:00 PM PDT I was kicking myself for being so stupid when I heard a Coyote howl further downstream. My blood ran cold and my heart flew up in my throat! I couldn't tell how far away it was, but this one sounded closer than any of the others had! I turned and hurried back upstream! I kept looking to my left to see if I noticed where I came in. I didn't see anything that looked familiar! How far had I come? By the sun, it looked like I had been walking for about four hours, but there was just no way to tell. I couldn't believe how stupid I had been! The coyote yelled again from behind me. It sounded like it was the same distance away. Was this thing moving upstream too? Was it following me? |
