Scott Porter ("Friday Night Lights", "Caprica") has been tapped as the lead in CW's adventure pilot "Nomads," says The Hollywood Reporter. The series is from writer Ken Sanzel and will be produced by Ridley and Tony Scott via their ScottFree shingle.

Plot Concept: The pilot follows a group of nearly broke young backpackers abroad who agree to earn money by working secret missions for the CIA.

TRON Animated Series Rolling

It seems that Walt Disney is planning a new "Tron" animated series to coincide their upcoming theatrical release of Tron Legacy. HR reports the Disney Channel the series to follow the release of the film (December 17, 2010).
