Disney Wants REEL Magic

Disney has preemptively snatched up the rights to a new family fantasy called Reel to Real, says The Hollywood Reporter. The pitch was by the new screenwriting team, Eric Saiet and Andrea Maywhort-Scully. With the deal being sealed before Rich Ross was officially announced as chairman of Walt Disney Studios, Casey Wolfe is overseeing for the studio.

Plot Concept: The story involves a magical film projector.
